IncrediBabies Terms and Conditions – 2022/2023

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes either verbally in class or in writing.

All staff possess a current DBS check

 

IncrediBabies is covered with public liability insurance

 

Bookings and Payment

Classes must be booked and paid for in advance of a session or block of sessions taking place.

The length of a term varies.

The price of the classes/parties/courses (which includes VAT) will be the price indicated on our website or at the time of booking.

 

Your place is guaranteed when the booking is made and payment has been received.

You will be informed of the acceptance of a booking once you have received written confirmation eg. Text Message.

 

Classes may vary slightly from their description on the website. The descriptions of the classes on our website are for indicative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to describe the classes accurately, we cannot guarantee that our classes will not vary slightly.

 

At the time of booking a birthday party a 50% non-refundable deposit is to be made payable to IncrediBabies. The remaining balance of a birthday party is due to be paid 1 week before the date of the party.

 

The details of a birthday party are discussed and agreed to at the time of booking. Changes to a birthday party can be made up to 2 weeks before the date of the party. Within the 2 weeks before the date of the party, no other changes can be made.

 

At the time of booking onto a course for parents (e.g. Hypnobirthing, Children’s Mental Health etc) a 50% non-refundable deposit is to be made payable to IncrediBabies and the remaining balance is due to be paid 1 week before the start date of the course.

 

Private tutoring must be booked and paid for in advance of a block of sessions taking place. Blocks of sessions follow the Lancashire school holiday list.

 

 

Cancellation and Refund

If you wish to cancel your booking, please use the contact details from our website. Your cancellation must be given in writing.

If you cancel within 14 days (cooling off period) of us accepting your order you will receive a full refund. The cancellation of sessions/classes/a course will take immediate effect.

If you cancel after 14 days (cooling off period) of us accepting your order you will receive part refund. There will be an admin fee of £20.00. The cancellation of sessions/classes/ course will take immediate effect.

We understand that from time to time classes/sessions may be missed. If you miss a class/session we are under no obligation to provide a refund. If you miss a class/session we are under no obligation to offer another class at a later date.

If we have to suspend the supply of a class/classes/sessions, we will contact you in advance to tell you, unless the problem is urgent or an emergency.

 

If we have to suspend the supply of a class/classes/sessions for any substantial period of time, we will adjust the price so that you do not pay for classes/sessions while they are suspended.

 

We may also suspend supply of a class/classes/sessions if you do not pay. If you do not pay us for the classes/sessions when you are supposed to under these terms and you still do not make payment within 7 days of us reminding you that payment is due, we have the discretion to suspend supply of the classes/sessions until you have paid us the outstanding amount.

 

We will always contact you to tell you if we are suspending the supply of classes/sessions.

 

If a party or parent course is cancelled by IncrediBabies you will receive a full refund of any amount you have already paid.

 

If a party is cancelled by yourself, you will be able to move the date of the party but you will not receive a refund.

 

Illness

You must not allow your child to attend a class if they are poorly/ill, including; if they have had a fever or a cough within the last 14 days, if they have had an upset stomach or, diarrhoea in the last 48 hours, if they have discharging eyes, if they have symptoms of a possible communicable disease, including, but not limited to, measles, chicken pox, German measles, whooping cough, impetigo, scarlet fever, hand foot and mouth disease or norovirus.

 

You as a parent/carer must not attend a class if you have been unwell.

 

Missed classes cannot be refunded or moved to a later date due to illness.

Data protection

We may need certain information from you so that we can supply the classes to you, for example, the names of any children attending our classes, existing medical conditions and any immunisations given to your child. 

 

Incredibabies will record, process and keep personal information secure in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and GDPR rules.

Equal opportunities

Health and safety

Daily risk assessments are carried out.

We have public liability insurance.

A fire register will be taken during each session to comply with health and safety rules and regulations.

 

You confirm that you and your child are able to take part in our classes by either signing up to a session/sessions or buying a block of classes.

 

By placing an order of a class/classes, you agree that both you and any child under your care or supervision are able to take part in our classes and that it would not be harmful to either yours or your child’s health, safety, comfort or physical condition to do so.

 

We will not be liable for any loss, injury or damage suffered where you do not tell us about a medical condition, you or your child have.

 

You and your child attend our classes at your own risk.

 

You and any child for which you are responsible attend our classes at your own risk and you are responsible for supervising any child in your care at all times (including during classes).

 

As long as we have provided the services with reasonable skill and care, we will not be liable to you for any loss, damage or injury suffered by you or a child for whom you are responsible as a consequence of you not following our instructions during the provision of our classes.

 

Photographs and Videos

Permission for photographs and videos to be taken by the class leader will be allowed when accepting these terms and conditions at the time of booking and payment.

 

Parents are welcome to take their own photos and videos of their child throughout any of our classes, and are able to share these on social media or with their friends and family.

 

Please ensure there are no other children or parents/carers in the background of your photos/videos.

Protection of property

 

Please note that your property left in prams or bags is your responsibility and not the responsibility of IncrediBabies.
